Not me, America...
The manufactured storm about medical insurance in the United States, smugly labeled by conservatives as “Obamacare”, continues to rage, while millions suffer from medical problems.
Somewhere, someone is making money from human suffering and bureaucrats are stonewalling.
I have paid significant amounts of money over the years from medical insurance (socialized medicine) and do not regret the expensive. All my costs have been covered. That said, the biggest benefit is peace-of-mind. Like any insurance, one hopes to never have to make a claim, but one is happy to have the coverage when a claim becomes necessary.
I am certain that the insurance company has made a profit with me (can’t be bothered to do the math), but I do not mind. I have happy to have been able to sleep well and look forward to sleeping well until I no longer awake...
