Anyone miss me?
Perhaps, one or the other might have feared (or hoped) that the ship had sunk or I had been incarcerated for making irreverent comments about the country, which has so graciously welcomed me and profited from our visit.
None of the above is true. I have had no time...and the internet connection has been a bit dodgy. Prior to this trip, I had expected to lounge around on deck and read. I have not cracked a book or switched on my Kindle. We have been overwhelmed by shore excursions and copious food and drink. I have taken around 2000 photos, which must be downloaded and sorted.
I have taken notes on the last few stops, observed life on ship, and thought about life., all of which will inflicted upon readers in the future. I have enough material for weeks of blog posts and enough photo galleries to bore the most-hardened "fan". There have even been a few sunsets, although the past few days in the north have been overcast.
So, tomorrow may be another blackout, because we are at sea trying to find Hong Kong. I hope that the hotel will have broadband, but I cannot promise having the energy. At this point, I think I will need a vacation to recover from this trip....
