One of my daily habits is searching the television program for something interesting. I end up taping things like the history of DNA or explanations of physics, chemistry, and biology or history of the earth or the makeup of the solar system or Modern Family. I want to learn all I ignored as a student, when motivation to learn was underdeveloped.
Today, a program caught my attention: not something I wanted to record for later viewing, but something I could not have imagined even existing on this planet. I learned many strange things by watching the above-mentioned programs, but nothing as strange as the content of this program. I think it was on an entertainment channel, and the description said something about delving into the lives of important players from the fields of "fame, film, and music".
What is the field of "fame"? Someone must think that it takes some kind of talent to become famous. Of course, there are names floating through the media whose reason for being I do not understand. Perhaps these are important people in the field of fame. I cannot understand how they can be given equal billing with someone having demonstrated talent.
But, who am I to criticize....
Prior to writing novels, the author enjoyed a multifaceted career: from decorated combat aviator to advertising professional to global communications director of a major consumer brand.
