This is about branding and logos. I understand their importance, but often find them irritating. Too much of a good thing or too little of a necessary thing...
I do not like to wear clothes with prominent branding. I like nice things, but do not need to advertise to the world my choices. My personality is not logo-based. I will not buy an item if the logo is too obvious.
On the other hand, I have been frustrated by lack of branding on an item needing repair. It is impossible to search for parts, if you do not know the manufacturer or article number.
It would easy to compare logos to women and say that "you can't live with them and can't live without them", but I'll avoid the wrath such a claim might incur...
