For some strange reason, after drinking a glass of red wine I developed an urge for popcorn. The fact that a film was playing on television might have played a role, but it would take psychiatrist to delve deep into my inner workings to confirm that (and none will ever have the opportunity).
My wife had made an excellent chicken soup, to which I had add julienne carrots and tiny noodles. I felt compelled to eat that also. These made a strange bedfellow, or rather stomach-fellow, but I had to satisfy competing urges and requirements. I’m fairly certain that the glass of wine influenced my dinner menu.
