I have a confession. Jet lag...and sloth...prevented me from observing the sunset until the second to last day. As the photos below suggest, I missed the beginnings. Old Sol was well on his way, before I got my butt out of bed and down to the beach. Still, the time of day was pleasant, because the beach was virtually deserted.
After many outings to view sunsets in various parts of the world, I thought I would turn my (and your) attention to a different direction: namely eastwards.
No hills, but just as foolish, because I had to get up early on several mornings to capture these natural wonders. If you don't appreciate the show, at least applaud my effort.
Prior to writing novels, the author enjoyed a multifaceted career: from decorated combat aviator to advertising professional to global communications director of a major consumer brand.
