Remember what I wrote yesterday about the “royal” PR machine? Well, they are cranking the marching band.
Prince Harry considering royal tour to China
Prince Harry is expected to make landmark trip to China next year
in an attempt to improve Britain’s relations.
Why would the Chinese, who threw out their own emperor eons ago, be interested in a visit from a distant heir to an anachronism? This can only be another ploy to burnish the image of an alleged half-witted buffoon, who hopes to carry on the tradition of England’s tourist attraction.
The English, with their enduring and unjustified arrogance, have surely forgotten their history of abusing the Chinese. The Chinese people and government have not. They also understand the current relative significance of each nation. Behind their politeness, many will be smirking to themselves about any people foolish enough to “worship” such unworthy rulers. They would never bow down to a leader whose heritage lies in another country, especially a former enemy.
