Some evil character (I think his name is Satan or something beginning with S) is harping on about eliminating the separation of church and state, as wished by the Founding Fathers (who such turkeys always claim to revere and uphold). He must not notice how insidious religion has become in the country, which he wishes to further ruin. No European government would have a religious figure open a political meeting or session. No leader would ask for the blessing of an imaginary deity. No other country would be arrogant enough to claim to be preferred by a deity.
I recall, as a school child, when the words "under god" were added to the Pledge of Allegiance, which we were forced to recite each day. Now, many years later, history seems to reveal that the country has declined since those words were added.
