Fleecing the Flock
I discovered a great line in an article in the Guardian about religion in the United States and the danger or Christianity collapsing (written by a professed Christian, who fears for the future of her faith). It read: “…Americans whose only hobbies are themselves, support legions of pastors, gurus, therapists and motivational speakers.”
As with everything else wrong about that country, greed is at work, and it’s basically about some folks trying to separate other folks from their money. Religion is a good racket in the U.S.
