_ I believe that I have mentioned something about life being a game. If not, then several other more worthy observers have spoken or written these words.
A major factor in the game is money, which in itself offers many sorts of games. One of them is investing. Following the advice of wiser men, I have spread my wealth among different forms of investment. Some have been wise, and some have been not so wise. All in all, I am slightly ahead in the game, despite disastrous effects of events in 2007 and more recently.
Today, I met with the investment advisor of one bank, at which I have a small amount of money. He informed me of the obvious: my money was not doing much for me. I had considered this depot to be like the basement in my house: my kids would inherit it and they could clean it up. But, he convinced me to make some changes, which made sense. I believe that only a stupid person does not change his mind, so I wished to prove that I am not always stupid.
It will be interesting to see, in a few years, if I was stupid to change my mind...
