We do not go out to eat at restaurants much. We like to cook and usually find our meals often better (and we don’t have to dress up). Of course, there are one or two exceptions, such as a small, family-owned restaurant in Alsace, which I have mentioned a time or two.
One thing that I try to avoid in the United States is any operation that promises “home cooking”...
