I did not want to see the latest (or any) Planet of the Apes movie, but my wife rented it and I lingered in the room after helping with the technology.
Once into it, I decided to see what would happen. It will never make my top ten list, but it was entertaining. By the end, I hated humans (not unusual for me) and was rooting for the apes. Of course, the outcome was obvious all along, with so much focus on redneck-like adversaries. I did have some sympathy for innocent bystanders that suffered damage or injury, but one cannot blame the apes. They were merely acting like empiraialistic nations...
