There is an article in the Guardian about the US budget deficit and wasteful spending by the military (one could substitute any government agency). Articles have been pointing out such facts for as long as I can remember, and nothing changes.
President Eisenhower (a Republican, by the way) warned of the danger of a growing military-industrial complex (a mere tot in his day). I hope they don’t deliver newspaper to his grave (Who knows what benefits Presidents are promised?); because he would surely not only turn over, but spin.
Of course, this article will have no impact on future budgets, contracts, spending, or waste. Some things never change…because there is so much money to be made by so many.
