I like pithy sayings...as well as some unpithy ones. I collect them, so I have decided to share a few with others. Besides, it will save me from thinking up new stuff each day. I can't promise not to include some of my own invention, and many will be unattributed, simply because I don't know where I read them or who said/wrote them.
I will also include selected lines from films, books, or publications which serve a similar role. Like multiple vitamins, one pearl each day should provide something...Often, a single line of well-chosen words can sum up so much wisdom, knowledge, or experience.
I can't guarantee that someone somewhere has not seen one or the other before. If so, repetition cannot be a bad thing. I learned that reach and frequency are important characteristic of any advertising campaign.
