I have read in numerous sources and heard commentary on news programs about American anger at Pakistani government behavior. Even senators are complaining about not improper behavior or lack of respect, which should flow from the billions that the US Government sends each year. They must not have children.
Nations act no differently than people, most likely because nations are made up of people. Anyone having children will know that, despite constantly receiving money from their parents, children rarely do what is expected—or even demanded—of them. That’s the way it is with mine.
And, all families squabble. Just look at the battles between the Democrats and the Republicans in America. Most murders are committed against people that the murderer knows or is related to.
Why should Pakistan—which is not even related—do what Americans want? The money is not being spent in the interest of the Pakistanis, and they know it.
Money does not buy happiness, filial devotion, or allied compliance. Some people don't understand human behavior, expect too much, or are just plain stupid...
