If anyone cares...
I usually read two books at a time (duh, not at the same sitting). I read one novel, which allows my imagination to travel to different places and different times. I also read something non-fiction, which requires me to think and to learn new facts. Once done, I like to switch to different centuries or decades and a different culture in novels and a very different category in non-fiction. That is far more interesting and stimulating than consistency.
Consistency is said to be a problem of small minds. That only occurs when I write my own novels...
Prior to writing novels, the author enjoyed a multifaceted career: from decorated combat aviator to advertising professional to global communications director of a major consumer brand. He has traveled the world and met sports, film and television stars, political leaders, and royalty. He graduated from Middlebury College, is married, lives in Germany, and has two grown children.
