_ This is not about a cruise ship, now lying on its side off the coast of Italy. This is about a sinking country...
I’m sure that Elizabeth (whatever family name she chose for herself) is a nice person, when she is in the privacy of her own home(s). Of course, I think that a queen is a waste of taxpayers’ money (glad I’m not one of them) and a notorious robber baron.
The latest flap is about a call for the government, i.e. taxpayers, to give her a yacht (a really, big one) to mark her 50th anniversary of living off the dole (a rather special one). With money she and her ancestors have extorted from the country and the colonies, she could buy a fleet of super yachts...if she wanted one. Since she has not, she must not. She had to relinquish an old one a few years ago, because taxpayers could not afford the cost. I guess she wants one only if someone else pays.
I was interesting to read that her children support the idea. Duh! Of course they are. Mama is getting on in years, so guess who’ll get to use it the most. Look forward to the cry “The queen is dead, long live the parasites.”
