Sunset of the Day
The fool on the hill sees the sun going down...
This is a treat (well, it is for me). I have already mentioned about buying a scanner to digitize old photos and about finding a large collection of dias and negatives. Playing with my new toy/obsession/time-waster/curse, I found a photo from "the beginning". The Sunset of the Day is from 1967, the year that The Fool of the Hill was released by The Beatles. I can still recall thinking about how I would end up like that: old, sitting on a hill, watching the world, and seeing the sun go down. My dormitory was on a hill, and this photo was taken while standing on a hill in Champlain Valley. I also recall being a fool in college, because I always managed to fall for the wrong girl (defined as one that was not interested in me).
