Ah, our old friends at Standard & Poors are trying to play hero...or something responsible...I think. One never knows with greedy financial characters.
These are the same geniuses and/or crooks that caused me to lose about 75% of a major investment sum, because they dressed up worthless junk as something AAA. Now, they expect us to believe whatever they peddle and still collect money from questionable companies seeking the same gilt rating. The US Government must not have paid them enough, although they did not throw them in prison and let them stay in business spouting lies.
