Alhambra is the fortress in Granada (surely had a different name in the day), which the Christian forces conquered from the Moors in 1492. Parts have survived European architecture and been maintained in their original splendor. Newer renovations are not worth visiting. Arab design is fantastic and certainly eclipses Christian art. Both faiths are dodgy, but their followers do nice work.
I did not take many photos, perhaps due to the bloody cold. Sorry. If you are in the neighborhood, a detour to Grenada is well worth the time and effort.
