What is wrong these women?
There’s a saying about Puritans being deathly afraid that, somewhere, someone might be having fun (definition of their own choosing). It seems that this role has been taken over by a group defined in a column in today’s Guardian as “ultra-conservative fundamentalist, Catholic, and Mormon women”.
Perhaps, these American women have a common gene with Muslim, who permit men to dictate their behavior and the covering of their bodies from head to foot and stem to stern. At least, the American sisters don’t waste money on fashion or grooming, but do not cover up the sight.
Newton the Great once worried (maybe still does) about a Muslim take-over of the United States, not realizing (maybe he did) that he was acting the midst of a more insidious movement...and more evil.
