I have already made clear my opinion about education in the land of my birth and probably made a few disparaging remarks about the population's grammatical talents.
The below link is to an outstanding article about the State of Language (without rebuttal by a Republican hopeful). The title is rather clever, too. This guy, like, hits the nail on the head (imagine my air quotes) with an articulate look at past, present...and, no, the future can't get worse.
Well worth reading for anyone that deplores what he or she put up with in everyday life. If you haven't noticed, then you are--sadly--like, part of the problem, you know.
